Dr. Phil Revealed The Extremely Petty Reason Why He Spoke At Donald Trump's NYC Rally

Plenty of people do stupid things out of spite — just ask Dr. Phil.

A few weekends ago, the talk show host (who, by the way, is technically not a licensed doctor) spoke at former US president and current US presidential candidate Donald Trump's racist mess of a rally at NYC venue Madison Square Garden.

If you're morbidly curious, you can watch his entire speech below. Credit where credit's due, it was probably the least offensive thing to go down at MSG that day.

But wait — what in the hell was Dr. Phil, a one-time protégé of known Kamala Harris supporter Oprah, doing at a Trump rally?

Well, Dr. Phil revealed his reasoning for showing up to the event in an interview with Piers Morgan earlier today, and it's dumber than you could've possibly imagined.

Dr. Phil referred to the Trump rally speech as an "act of rebellion," largely due to his allegation that he wasn't asked to speak at any of Kamala's rallies.

“I requested 25-plus times to speak to Kamala Harris — I offered to give the identical speech at a Harris rally," he admitted.

If you think that's pathetic, then get a load of this: Despite very publicly appearing at an event so disastrous that it might have actually changed the course of the election, Dr. Phil now claims that he isn't even endorsing Trump at all. Yes, really.

“I’m not here to endorse Donald Trump," he told Piers. "I do not like celebrity endorsements. I don’t like a lot of what he says or does.”

Alright, man. Anyway! Election Day is today, and soon we'll be done with all of this. Not soon enough, though!
