Dr. Pepper Fans Say 'I Have to Get My Hands On' Newest Flavor for This Delicious Reason
I may not have my own TikTok account, but that doesn't stop me from getting excited about new trends when someone sends me a viral recipe video. I'm often that one friend who only catches on after a trend has hit YouTube or Instagram Reels. By then, my friends are already saying, "Late" or "I saw this!" It stings a bit, but I keep sharing what’s new to me—even if it's not new to them.

People are already adding their own twists to this already iconic brand of soda, and I can't wait to share it with you all. Get ready for the link, group chat! I present to you the Dirty Blackberry Dr. Pepper.

Ingredients You Need for the Dirty Blackberry Dr. Pepper
Just like any dirty soda, you’ll want your favorite non-alcoholic carbonated beverage, and some cream, juice or syrup. You’ll need to find the new blackberry Dr. Pepper, which is now a permanent flavor and available wherever Dr. Peppers are sold. Staying in step with Joseph Anthonii’s version, I went with the zero sugar Dr. Pepper, and the zero sugar coconut creamer. Lastly, for an extra burst of blackberry flavor you can add in some blackberry syrup.

What I Thought of the Dirty Blackberry Dr. Pepper
I don’t know if the marathon training is suppressing my sweet tooth, but this is a drink that I just don’t need. Soda, whether sugar-free or not is already sweet enough, and treat enough for me. I don’t personally need to jazz it up any further by mixing in additional syrups and creamers. Dr. Pepper added the flavor to the mix for me, and who am I to go against the doctor’s recommendation?

I will say this though, the dirty soda trend is fun and I don't regretting try it out. This hacked up Dr. Pepper is like something you would let your kids make during a slumber party. It’s very reminiscent of an ice cream float but without the best part: the ice cream. If you ever seek some novelty in the drink department, get your hands on the new Dr. Pepper flavor and take your own stab at making it dirty.
