"She's Kind Of Busy Right Now": Donna Kelce's Vagueness On Taylor Swift's Thanksgiving Plans Is Being Revisited Following News Of What She Actually Did
Hear ye, hear ye: We have new details on the Taylor Swift/Travis Kelce Thanksgiving plans.
You may recall that last month, when Travis's mom, Donna, was asked about the family's plans for the holiday, she said, "I am going to be at a football game. Travis is playing the day after Thanksgiving. You know, football is always the holidays. Football’s family."
Donna further denied that the family would be doing a dinner or that Taylor would attend, responding to a question about the singer's plans by saying, "I don't think so. She's kind of busy right now. She still has her tour to do." Donna's words subsequently sparked ample discussion from the "Taylor and Travis are in a PR relationship" crowd.
Lo and behold, Donna and Taylor ended up attending the Kansas City Chiefs game against the Las Vegas Raiders the day after Thanksgiving together.
Then, on Dec. 1, a source revealed to People that Swift's family actually hosted the Kelces for Thanksgiving in Nashville. "Taylor and Travis had a great Thanksgiving together with their families," the source said, adding that, due to the Eras Tour schedule last year, it marked "the first Thanksgiving they celebrated together."
"Taylor and her family were excited to host the Kelces this year," the source continued. "[Travis's brother] Jason was there with his family and kids too. It was very festive and special."
Following the big reveal, some praised the 72-year-old Kelce matriarch for purposefully keeping things vague:
shoutout to Donna Kelce for respecting Tay's privacy and saying that Taylor wouldnt be with them for Thanksgiving when she actually was. Iconic woman

It's worth noting that Travis's home was recently burglarized during a Chiefs game, so it makes sense!
