"The Apple Does NOT Fall Far From The Tree": People Are Reacting To A Video Of Donald Trump Jr. Calling His Daughter "Sexy"

Though it's Game of Thrones season, this news is not a plot from HBO's House of the Dragon. Instead, we're trapped in the weird time warp that is the 2024 presidential election — and unfortunately, our elections now seem to involve someone bearing the last name Trump making odd comments about their daughter.

During our last go-around in 2016, a recovered 2004 clip of then-presidential candidate Donald Trump appearing on Howard Stern's radio show went viral.

In the audio, Trump tells Stern, "My daughter is beautiful, Ivanka."

Stern begins a reply, saying, “by the way, your daughter," but Trump interrupts, seemingly attempting to finish Stern's sentence and adding, “She’s beautiful.”

And that's when Stern asks the question: “Can I say this? A piece of ass,” in reference to Ivanka. To which Trump offers the greenlight: “Yeah."

Now, in 2024, a video of Donald Trump Jr. getting ready with his 17-year-old daughter, Kai Madison Trump, for the Republican National Convention is receiving similar attention.

In the TikTok, posted originally by Trump Jr. on his account, he and his daughter are seen in what appears to be a dressing room, getting their makeup touched up for the event.

"Kai, what do you think?" Trump Jr. asks his daughter. "Gettin' makeup. Make me look sexy like you."

"I think you look very beautiful," Kai replies.

"Thank you, Kai," he says. "I'm glad you think I look very beautiful."

Comments on the video ranged from "Isn't she his daughter??" to "The apple does NOT fall far from the tree."
