Kai Trump, one of President Donald Trump’s granddaughters, headed to the inaugural balls on Monday night in Washington, D.C. The influencer posted to social media ahead of the events, giving followers a preview of her look. “Inaugural ball dance ready,” she wrote in one caption.
The dress she wore was a crystal-studded Sherri Hill gown. The look featured two thin spaghetti straps. In addition, it included a sweetheart neckline and beads that go all the way to the floor-length hem.

Trump has been posting about her experience during the inauguration weekend on YouTube. There, she previewed the three Sherri Hill dresses that the Texas-based brand sent her. She said that she had never worn the designer prior.
“They look amazing on me,” she said in a YouTube video. “She’s a really good designer — I’d heard of her before.” Hill is a well-known designer in the prom and pageantry markets.
It’s just one in a flurry of looks from the extended Trump family. Throughout the weekend, Melania Trump has worn pieces from designers like Dolce & Gabbana, Christian Dior, Adam Lippes and Saint Laurent. Ivanka Trump has also worn Christian Dior but chose Oscar de la Renta for a custom off-shoulder dress to wear to a candle light dinner. She also returned to de la Renta, designed by creative directors Laura Kim and Fernando Garcia, for an orchid applique cashmere coat for an event honoring American veterans.
Kai Trump has been building a reputation as a social media influencer. She is one of five children from Donald Trump Jr. and his ex-wife Vanessa. In addition to building her profile as a social media influencer, she’s a competitive golfer.
