President Donald Trump hit in the face with microphonePresident Donald Trump appeared to be taken by surprise when he was hit in the face with a microphone during a recent press conference.
The blunder occurred while Trump, 78, was speaking with reporters at Joint Base Andrews military facility in Maryland after giving a speech at the Department of Justice in Washington, D.C., on Friday, March 14.
In a video of the moment captured by News.com.au, Trump can be seen being asked a question by a reporter when a boom microphone suddenly appears in view from below and hits him in the mouth.
Trump then tilts his head back in reaction and glares at the person holding the microphone off-camera. “I’m so sorry," the woman can be heard saying, before Trump raises his eyebrows without uttering a reply.
As the reporter then proceeds to ask him about the situation in Gaza, Trump responds, "She just made television tonight."
“She just became a big story tonight, right?” the politician adds to someone else off to the side. “Did you see that?”
A photo of the press conference that was taken from another angle and shared on X shows three crew members each holding a boom microphone in Trump’s direction.
Among them is the woman who is believed to have bumped Trump, standing directly opposite him, wearing a beige trench coat and headphones.
