Dolly Parton's Reason For Never Learning How To Text Is Going Viral

Dolly Parton's new album Rockstar is the number-one album in the country, which, believe it or not, is the first number-one album of her career!

Last weekend, she ruffled some conservatives' feathers when she wore this cheerleading outfit while performing at an NFL halftime show.

Which, like, she looked stunning.

And now she's going viral for not texting.

She told Drew Barrymore that she doesn't text.

"I don’t want to talk to everybody that wants to talk to me. I don’t text 'cause I don’t want to have to answer," she says.

“If somebody calls me, I’ll answer it if I want to talk to them or I’ll call them back when I can," she continued. "Otherwise, I’ve got too much to think about than to clutter my mind up with everything else.”

"I'm certainly not a stupid person, I could learn it if I wanted to. I'd rather just have my fax machine and [they can] call in creative stuff to my crew," she goes on, praising her crew. "I just don't have time to sit with a phone in my face all day."

Honestly, she's got a point, and I will be adopting a form of Dolly Parton's non-texting strategy in 2024.
