The dog-friendly Christmas tree hack you need to know about

There’s nothing like digging out your Christmas decorations and spreading some joy around your house with baubles, tinsel or whatever festive-themed paraphernalia you can get your hands on.

But if you’re a dog-owner (or you’ve a crawling baby around the house) decorating your home with a Christmas tree can sometimes lead to more stress than it’s worth.

However, thanks to one innovative blogger, we now know there’s a way to still have a tree and make sure you’re pooch stays safe this year.

“I decided to put a wooden hanging tree in my hall for a minimal, apartment and puppy friendly option,” Joanne Larby wrote on her Instagram page.

The Instagram star, who has over 147,000 followers online, posted a cute picture to her grid, showing her holding her adorable puppy, Storm, in her arms.

Behind Joanne, her simple yet elegant tree can be seen hanging on the way.

Joanne isn’t the only Instagrammer to use the clever Christmas hack. People have been using the tree hack if they have a small apartment or won’t be around much over the festive period.
