Doechii Serves Office Siren in 2 Different Thom Browne Tie Looks at 2025 Grammys
The rapper made an outfit change into a her second Thom Browne look of the night before accepting her first-ever Grammy for best rap album
Doechii is serving office siren — with two separate looks! — at the 2025 Grammys!
On Sunday, Feb. 2, the rapper and three-time Grammy nominee, 26, turned heads at the Los Angeles Crypto.com Arena when she arrived on the red carpet in a quintessential Thom Browne look: a pinstripe, off-the-shoulder corset dress.
The custom, wool gown featured a structured silhouette that was exaggerated at the rapper's hips. And, to maximize the office-wear vibe, the gown was teamed with a matching pinstripe tie and classic white button-down with the luxury brand's signature triple-stripe armband detail in red, white and blue.
The "Denial is a River" rapper rounded out the red-carpet look with cool-toned eye makeup, an intricate braided hairstyle and sparkling drop earrings. For the ceremony, she changed into another elevated office look.
To accept the award for best rap album for Alligator Bites Never Heal, Doechii (real name Jaylah Hickmon) took the stage in another structured look from Thom Browne.
The rapper wore another gray skirt with a dramatically exaggerated hip silhouette — plus another gray tie and white shirt. But, the ceremony look also featured additional layers: a dark gray corset and cropped, short-sleeve suit jacket, also in gray.
She also changed up her hairstyle for the ceremony, where she wore her braids in a stunning (and gravity-defying!) geometric style.
Beyond best rap album, Doechii is also nominated in two other categories at the 67th Grammy Awards — best rap performance for her track "Nissan Altima" and the coveted best new artist award. Her fellow best new artist nominees are Benson Boone, Sabrina Carpenter, Khruangbin, RAYE, Chappell Roan, Shaboozey and Teddy Swims.

Days after Grammy nominations were announced, Doechii visited her high school Howard W. Blake High School to hold an assembly for the students. In a recap posted to her socials, the rapper was greeted by the school’s marching band and cheerleaders, the Yellow Jackets, and immediately danced along with them.
“Wow, all of y’all are so incredibly talented and it feels so good to be back. Thank you for welcoming me like this!” she said. “I know y’all like the military, y’all can’t say nothing but good job, everybody!”
In December, Doechii made headlines after firing back at a social media critic who made comments about her body. In a TikTok video posted on Dec. 8, the rapper wrote that they’d stop following her if she ever got any cosmetic work done.
“I’m gonna keep it so real with you. You should already be out the door because I’ve already had cosmetic enhancements since like 2021,” the rapper said in the clip, which showed her getting her makeup done.

She continued: “Y’all really have to stop normalizing making comments like these and just let women do whatever the f--- they want to do with their bodies.”
The original comment was posted under another one of the star's TikTok videos, in which she explained why she chooses to wear face tape, a non-invasive beauty hack to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and lift the face, per Byrdie.

In a May 2023 episode of the We Said What We Said with Ricky and Denzel podcast, the “Persuasive” rapper revealed that she’d undergone plastic surgery in the past.
“Your body is too fab. This is home-grown,” said co-host Denzel Dion of her figure. Doechii denied the comment but didn't reveal exactly what surgery she had done, thought many of her fans suspected it was a Brazilian butt lift (BBL).
“It’s nobody’s business," she explained. "We don’t have to lie, but we don’t have to scream it to the top of our lungs."
