DJ Havana Brown narrowly avoids ARIA Awards red carpet wardrobe malfunction

DJ Havana Brown showed off her trademark composure on the ARIA’s red carpet, after appearing to narrowly avoid a wardrobe malfunction mid-interview.

The 34-year-old made the escape while rocking a backless sequinned gown with several large cut outs for the star-studded awards show.

Matched with her red hair tied back in a stylish low bun and some low-key accessories, Havana’s floor-length look was among the most memorable from music’s night of nights.

Keeping it together

However, during a red carpet interview with Nova, Havana appeared to acknowledge her outfit’s dramatic tailoring and suddenly peered down to ensure everything had remained in place.

But after realising the barely-there gown had in fact retained its structure and resume her chat with little worry.

Earlier in the day, Havana explained to her 200,000 Instagram followers just how much work was required to achieve her show-stopping look, explaining she had to ‘make sure [she’s] all taped in.”

“I am so hungry. I have not eaten all day since breakfast, so I'm going to go out and have something to eat,” she explained.
