One of Disney’s planned communities is reportedly on track to hit a big milestone this spring!

Inspired by Walt Disney Imagineers, the Cotino neighborhood located in Rancho Mirage, Calif., is the first Storyliving by Disney community that's beginning to take shape. Its million-dollar luxury homes are already for sale, and interested buyers can plan their in-person visit now, according to Storyliving by Disney’s official website.

The community’s first residents are set to move in this spring, The Orange County Register reports. Meanwhile, additional features like Cotino Bay and the Parr House are expected to open this fall, per Storyliving by Disney’s official Instagram account.

Cotino was the first Storyliving by Disney community to be announced along with the project as a whole in February 2022. The desert "oasis" is located less than 30 minutes outside of Palm Springs and holds a historic significance as Walt Disney himself owned a home in Rancho Mirage.

According to a fact sheet about the community, the entire neighborhood will be spread out across 618 acres of land and feature 1,932 residential units.

Impressive features include the crystal clear Cotino Bay, which will be lined with restaurants and shops that make up the town center (expected to open in 2026), according to its website.

Meanwhile, the Parr House, a recreational venue at Cotino, draws design inspiration from the Parr family's home featured in Incredibles 2. Signature Disney events and performances will be held there.

The community will also offer amenities one might expect from a Disney resort, like access to restaurants and wellness centers, which can be accessed via a paid membership to its "Artisan Club."
