Discontinued M&M's Flavor Is Expected to Make a Comeback and Fans Are 'So Excited'
It's peanut butter jelly time...in the candy aisle.
On August 27, the popular Instagram account CandyHunting announced the upcoming debut of a new M&M's flavor that's actually a throwback to a version of the candy that was introduced 15 years ago but has since gone off the shelves: Peanut Butter & Jelly M&M's.
"Peanut Butter & Jelly M&M's are expected to launch soon! They will debut at the NACS Show this coming October. They have a flavored peanut butter filling, similar to the Strawberried Peanut Butter M&M's from 2009," CandyHunting captioned the post.

Fans were definitely on board with the news.
"I'm so excited for the PB&J trend to hit candy!" wrote food blogger Snackolator.
"Finally!🔥 I've dreamt of this flavor for a real long time. Dreams do come true!" commented a second person.
"FINALLY THEYRE COMING BACK!!! I’ve missed the strawberried peanut butter ones every single day since they were discontinued 😭😭😭😭," shared a third Instagram user.
In May, M&M's brought back another flavor that was met with decidedly more mixed reactions. M&M’s Orange Vanilla Creme, which originally debuted in 2018, feature a "soft, creamy center" similar to an orange creamsicle "followed by a coating of white chocolate and a crunchy candy shell."
"Those are not good hard pass," complained one commenter, with another writing that they "tried these when they first released them and they are gross."
Still, some candy-lovers were enthusiastic.
"Omgosh these look amazing!🤤" one person raved, with another calling the flavor "the best ones."
