Popular food blogger snackolator shared on Jan. 16 that “Dippin' Dots Sundaes are a wild way to start 2025 and I just spotted them on shelves today!”
The foodie influencer continued, writing in an Instagram caption that “These are rolling out to Kroger owned chains in both Cookies 'N Cream and Cotton Candy flavors” next to an image of boxes of four sundaes apiece.

Commenters were quick to give their opinions, writing, “I’m curious to see if the ice cream on top somehow makes the dippin dots maintain their shape as normally they have to be colder.”
Another fan chimed in to say “These look like a good snack for me to eat ❤️😍,” and “I want to try the cotton candy one.”
Several bemoaned the fact that it appears to be exclusive to Kroger, commenting “Why everything at Kroger lol? 😭,” and “Hopefully, I can find them at Walmart.”
While the Dippin’ Dots official website confirms that the sundaes are “coming soon,” it does not specify a date. However, another food blogger, CandyHunting, shared in November that the sundaes “will also be available at additional retailers later next year.”
Instagram commenters were excited by the prospect, writing, “This will be my new reason for living” and “We need a banana split 😍.”
Dippin’ Dots typically need to be stored at very low temperatures, and some commenters expressed concern about quality control. “But will it be all clumpy? Dippin Dots have to be stored sub below temps,” wrote one fan, but another didn’t seem to mind. “I need these so bad I don’t even care if the dots all stick together,” they said.
