Dave Hughes has been hospitalised after a ‘bizarre’ onstage health scare left onlookers concerned for his health.

The former The Project host made the revelation as part of an Instagram post just after receiving the results of an MRI—which luckily came back all clear.

Hughesy’s health scare

But hours earlier, Hughesy’s health was a scarier story, when he was hosting a business lunch for the Carlton Football Club, in front of 1,500 people.

“The room started spinning like I was on a ride at the show!” he wrote in reference to the situation.

“Tried to talk my way through it. Got handed a chair to sit on. Everyone concerned for me.”

The father-of-three went on to explain that although a hospital admission soon followed the event, his MRI thankfully came back all clear.

Doctors concluded the first time occurrence was vertigo and he’s ‘all good now’.

The star’s celebrity pals were quick to wish the popular comedian well after the health scare, with former co-host Carrie Bickmore leading the support.

“Oh man that sounds horrible. So glad you are ok!” she wrote, before Hughesy labelled the experience ‘bizarre’ in response.

Gogglebox favourite, Yvie Jones, also sent best wishes—before her Network 10 colleague ensured her all was in fact well.
