This season of Dancing with the Stars was star-studded with several national league athletes -- from NBA stars to NFL players to Olympic competitors -- and celebrities hoofing it up with their partners.

The popular reality TV show has several connections to Nevada. Las Vegas venues are known to be a popular training ground for celebrities, and judge Carrie Ann Inaba was honored as Nevada Ballet Theatre's Woman of the Year this February.

There were memorable moments like ex-NFL wideout Danny Amendola paying tribute to Mike Leach or his I'm Just Ken dance in the finale.
