Couple's European Journey Takes a Heartwarming Twist with Rescue of 3 Adorable Kittens

When we go on vacation, bringing home a few souvenirs is always lovely. They can help us remember the smells, tastes, and views of some of the world’s most magnificent locations. Most of the time, our chosen items can be shipped back or fit into our carry-on bags.

However, this couple’s special tokens from their trip to Europe required more careful handling. Check out this video shared on August 20th to see what they brought home from their extended holiday.

Talk about being in the right place at the right time! When Ian and Ana (@ian.and.ana) shipped their van to Europe, they didn’t expect to bottle-feed three kittens as they toured the countryside. However, fate had other plans, and they discovered these tiny babies without a mom just days away from perishing. Each one is so precious and playful! As it turns out, these cuties were the perfect road trip pals, and they adopted all three. They have done more in their short time here than most humans. They traveled by plane, saw the Eiffel Tower, took a gondola ride in Venice, and played on the beach. Wow! When it was time to head back to the States, the kittens, of course, went with them and now reside in sunny Florida. It’s hard to argue that these babies might be the most fantastic souvenir ever.

Is It Easy for Cats and Dogs To Travel to the U.S. From Europe?

With the proper preparation, traveling with pets from another country can be seamless. Dogs and cats must have a valid rabies certificate stating the vaccine was administered at least 30 days before entering the States. A veterinarian may also need to sign off on a health certificate within ten days of travel. Although microchipping is not needed in the United States, some airlines and European countries require it. Many European countries also require different parasite tests, so it’s always best to research before leaving home.

This sweet story touched people. Viewer @debbie.ks_ responded, “They are very lucky and special. It’s not often siblings can stay together!” That’s true! Viewer @durgavarde remarked, “God bless you with all the love for giving them such a secure and loving life.” They have given them the best the world has to offer! Viewer @areta.pf responded, “This is so beautiful and sweet! Thank you for saving the babies and keeping them in your family.” They are the perfect fit!

This delightful story is another terrific example of the cat distribution system striking when it sees fit. Even though we may have other plans, sometimes the unexpected brings the most joy.
