Breakfast enthusiasts know the importance of the meal’s staple foods. Bagels, pancakes, scrambled eggs, french toast—these recipes are deliciously classic for a reason. For years, Costco has garnered a cult-like following for its bakery section, with customers always on the lookout to upgrade their morning with new items (and if you’ve been keeping up, you’d even know that the warehouse recently added triple chocolate and blueberries and cream muffins to their vast selection).

Now, Costco is dropping a bakery item that's a hybrid of two crowd-pleasing breakfast foods and it looks delicious.

New French Toast Bagels at Costco

In a video that highlights the new Costco bakery item, @costcohotfinds toasted the bagel, then spread some butter on top, and drizzled it with maple syrup and powdered sugar for the ultimate sweet treat. The bagels are like “cinnamon and brown sugar swirl french toast bagels" which look just as appetizing as it sounds.

Shoppers are certainly excited about the new find, writing comments like their “jaw dropped,” with several saying they are heading to the store immediately after the video. TikTokers are particularly keen on putting them in the air fryer or making them into a traditional egg and cheese breakfast sandwich.

One fan even started a Reddit thread to gush about the new bakery offering, describing the french toast bagels as “impeccable.” They mentioned that toasting the bagel filled their home with the smell of cinnamon—and who doesn’t want that? Other fans on Reddit suggested freezing the bagels or keeping them in the fridge upon purchase to ensure they stay fresh for as long as possible.

These bagels should be available nationwide, but ask a local employee if you don’t initially see them.
