As much as we love gathering in the living room with the family for movie night or around the dining table with friends for a dinner party, there’s something about relaxing in a smaller space alone that is wildly underrated. In fact, according to The American Institute of Stress, taking a brief break alone can be rewarding both mentally and physically. So, in other words, we need a place to retreat solo, but where? Per usual, Costco has a solution: a "Solitude" shed.

Yes, you read that right. Costco is selling a beautiful and quaint 120-square-foot bungalow that offers the perfect spot to take five—or 30, which may be more beneficial to your mental health. Let your mind run wild with the possibilities. You could go with the old-school man cave setup, create a quiet place to craft and DIY to your heart’s content, or just a cozy place to study, read, or work. It’s the perfect place to decompress after a long day. Plus, getting a Solitude shed is much easier than knocking down walls in your home and starting a months-long renovation project. If you're worried about how it'll hold up to rain or snow, note that the roof is made from plywood treated with an ice and water shield, so you won't need to tear the whole thing down come winter.
