Costco Just Dropped a Brand New Deli Item, and Fans Say It's 'Delicious'

If there’s one thing we can always count on, it’s Costco’s endless wonderland of delicious baked goods and mouth-watering deli items. From mind-blowing fruit-topped sweet rolls to ultra-moist cinnamon coffee cake, there’s virtually nothing you won’t find lining the larger-than-life retailer’s shelves. And while a trip to the members-only discount club might mean spending more than you initially budgeted for, the price per portion typically works out to be cheaper than it would be at other major retailers. Essentially, you’re saving money by filling up your cart so, shop on bestie!

Despite the cart-stopping allure of all the deals you’ll undoubtedly cross paths with, the real savings lie in the chain’s ready to purchase deli coolers and you might be surprised by the array of delicious flavors available. You can quite literally dine on a different cuisine every night if you choose, and the latest international offering is one fans are calling “Bomb 🔥🔥🔥.”

Tender chicken pieces are simmered in a rich, creamy, spiced tomato sauce and get paired with delicate naan to make for a quick and tasty Indian-inspired dinner. Retailing at $5.99 a pound and sold by weight, packages typically clock in around 2-pounds—or enough for two to three people. While most fans were excited at word of popular Indian fare’s launch, the reception among fans has been relatively unenthused with most saying, “Taste wise it’s alright, but the price is pretty reasonable for the amount of food given.”

Of course, taste is purely subjective, and if you’re looking to amp up the flavor, you could easily add diced veggies, extra spices or even toast up your naan and douse it with garlic butter for an extra delicious upgrade. Regardless, it’s hard to argue with spending less than $6 a person for a ready-to-go dinner option—even if it is a little less than authentic. And who knows, maybe we’ll get spicy chicken vindaloo next. Here’s hoping!
