Costco Just Dropped a Brand New Bakery Item That Fans Say 'Sounds Like Perfection'

On their own, French toast and bagels are two of the most reliable breakfast options in existence. Together, they are a force to be reckoned with. Pair a French toast bagel with maple bacon, scrambled eggs and American cheese and you’ve got one of the greatest breakfast creations ever made by man. Sprinkle powdered sugar over top of it before digging in, and now you’ve got something equal parts delicious and dangerous on your hands.

At Costco, tasty baked creations are amply available to all who would like to partake in them. On any given week, a visit to Costco can produce a wide variety of seasonal baked goods to choose from, including a number of return fan-favorites. Upon visiting their local warehouse just this week, @costco_empties stumbled upon a new offering that immediately caught our (and many others) attention.

“NEW French Toast Bagels in Costco Bakery,” @costco_empties exclaims in their post shared to Instagram. “Toasted with butter sounds like perfection,” @costcoshares chimed in to echo their mouth-watering sentiment. Other commenters also shared having just found the bagels available in their hometown, with one reporting that a bakery employee said they had just come out on Monday.

As of now, Costco bakeries nationwide should have a variety of 6-pack bagels on display and available for purchase. Customers can buy any two 6-pack sleeves for just $7.99, but it might take a week or so for locations everywhere to have the new French toast bagels in stock. So long as your freezer can accommodate it, we recommend stocking up for the season as these tasty bagels are likely to be a hot-ticket item as long as they are available.

While Costco’s bakery was recently in the hot seat due to a necessary recall on its Kirkland Signature Butter Croissants, the popular bulk retailer still has plenty more to get excited about in terms of baked goods. Just this week, the famed retailer dropped its show stopping Raspberry White Chocolate Cake, and fans everywhere collectively lost their minds.
