Colman Domingo has some ideas for the upcoming season of Euphoria.

During an appearance on SiriusXM's Radio Andy on Aug. 8, the actor — who plays Ali, the sponsor of Zendaya's Rue, on the HBO show — shared what he wants for his character in the long-awaited third season.

"I am asking for my character to have sex," Domingo told Andy Cohen. "I would like to see – because I'm like, 'These young kids are out there having all this kind of sex,' and I'm like, 'I think Ali needs to get some this season.'"

Cohen said he "totally agree[s]," given he was the one who brought the topic up earlier in the conversation.

"Do you ever go to [creator] Sam Levinson and be like, 'Hey dude, let my character counsel Jacob Elordi a little bit. Let me get in there with him,'" Cohen asked Domingo, inquiring about whether he gives Levinson any input on Ali's storyline.

"You know, Andy, I think that's the pitch that you and I can make. I think the world wants that," the Emmy winner replied about a potential plotline involving Ali and Elordi's character, Nate Jacobs.

Last month, Euphoria season 3 was confirmed to begin filming in January 2025, three full years after season 2 premiered. The announcement came after months of speculation about when – and if – the hit show would return.

HBO confirmed that cast members including Zendaya, Jacob Elordi, Sydney Sweeney, Alexa DemieMaude Apatow and Hunter Schafer are all expected to return for the upcoming season.

Earlier this year, Domingo joked to PEOPLE that the third season would "take place in a nursing home in southeast Los Angeles" rather than at East Highlands High School like the two previous seasons, referring to how long of a gap there'd already been between seasons 2 and 3.

He said he hadn't "seen anything" for season 3 at that point, but shared that "Sam's very excited about it."
