Written and directed by Alan Alda, produced by Martin Bregman, and starring Alda and Carol Burnett, 1981’s The Four Seasons tells the story of three couples who vacation together every season.
Hailing from Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group, and Fey’s production company Little Stranger, Inc., the Four Seasons series will be exec produced by Fey, Fisher, Wigfield, David Miner, Eric Gurian and Jeff Richmond. Alda and Marissa Bregman will produce the series scripted by Fey, Fisher and Wigfield, which enters production later this year.
Coming off his first Oscar nomination for his turn as civil rights activist Bayard Rustin in Netflix’s drama Rustin from director George C. Wolfe, Domingo also last year put in a memorably menacing turn as Mister in Warner Bros’ musical adaptation of The Color Purple.
Also recently appearing in Ethan Coen’s Drive-Away Dolls and wrapping up an eight-season run on AMC’s Fear the Walking Dead, the actor will next be seen starring in the prison drama Sing Sing, which debuts in theaters via A24 on July 12 after world premiering to rave reviews at the Toronto Film Festival. Other upcoming projects include the Netflix limited series The Madness and Lionsgate’s Michael Jackson biopic Michael, out April 18, 2025, which has him portraying patriarch Joe Jackson.
Domingo is represented by Gersh, Liebman Entertainment, and Schreck Rose Dapello.
