Christie Brinkley, 65, shares secret to looking decades younger

At 65, former supermodel Christie Brinkley looks better than ever, and she credits her “rainbow diet” and being an older mum for helping her look and feel young.

“The biggest milestones for me were my three kids. Those were the biggest moments of my life,” she tells Yahoo Lifestyle.

“I was an older mom, but I wanted to be involved in their lives and do things like ski, paddleboard, kayak, play tennis with them,” Christie explains of how her children influenced her to maintain a healthy and active lifestyle. “I think their youthful energy inspires me to take care of myself to be there when they have their babies!”

A balanced diet is also a big part of her approach to wellness. “I am a huge believer in nutrition, and you are what you eat,” she says. “I am a lifelong vegetarian, I eat right, I exercise regularly and have my Total Gym which I really use and love.”

And when it comes to her anti-aging beauty secret, the supermodel is a big fan of a non-invasive treatment at the dermatologist’s office: Ultherapy, which she is currently an ambassador for.

In addition to annual those treatments – which are said to improve lines and wrinkles – staying active and maintaining a vegetarian diet, Christie also warns against sun exposure and uses her own skincare line to maintain her glowing complexion.

“My big regret is that I did have a lot of sun exposure,” says Christie who texts her daughter Sailor daily to remind her to wear sunscreen. “It’s very important to use sunscreen, especially if it’s safe for the coral reefs.”
