Christian Slater's Daughter Had a Hilarious Reaction to Learning She Would Be a Big Sister: 'Ready to Protect All of Her Toys'
Slater welcomed his fourth baby, his second with his wife Brittany, five months ago
Christian Slater's daughter wasn't super thrilled to become a big sister.
The actor who stars in the new TV series Dexter: Original Sin, appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and opened up about welcoming his baby boy with wife Brittany five months ago. The couple is also parents to a 5-year-old daughter while Slater shares daughter Eliana, 22, and son Jaden, 25, with ex-wife Ryan Haddon.
“It’s good! He’s 5 months old. He’s hilarious," Slater, 55, says of his younger son. "He wakes up and he’s got a great big smile, big personality and I love him dearly."

Asked about his daughter whom he shares with Brittany, Slater revealed she had a funny reaction to learning that she'd be an older sibling.
"When we told her that my wife was pregnant, she asked when he was going to come. And we said, ‘Well, about six more months he’s going to be here,' " he remembered.
"And she goes, ‘Okay good. I have time to build a wall.’ She was ready to protect all of her toys," Slater joked.
In August, Slater spoke to PEOPLE at the premiere of his film Blink Twice and shared what it's been like becoming a father again at this stage in his life.
“Wow. I mean, it's just different,” he told PEOPLE. “The whole thing is different. I'm certainly a lot more present and I just love it.”
“I think I was more scared of it the first go around and a little bit more confused, and I was very distracted," he admitted. "And now, it's all I really think about, and all I really care about, and all I want to be around. I'm happy to be in that situation.”
The Unfrosted star went on to speak about his younger daughter, whose name has not been made public.
“She's just cute. My daughter's 5 and she's a real passionate, excited person,” Slater told PEOPLE at the time. “I mean, she skateboards, she ice skates, she climbs rock walls, she does aerobics, she plays tennis and she's 5. We can't stop her.”
