Chocolate chip cookies are delicious. Whether it's freshly baked cookies straight from the oven or something more outside the box, like chocolate chip cookie dough cheesecake, there’s lots to love about chocolatey, buttery cookies. With so many different ways to enjoy the comforting flavors of a chocolate chip cookie, the snacking possibilities are truly endless.

Chips Ahoy may be known for its traditional take on chocolate chip cookies, but it has been releasing plenty of new takes on its classic recipes for years now. From its Big Chewy Cookies to fun collaborations with brands like Oreo and Reese’s, we’ve got to say, we like where Chips Ahoy’s head is at. Now, the cookie brand is bringing a new treat to stores—and it's not a cookie.

Introducing the New Chips Ahoy Baked Bites Blondie

I tried Chips Ahoy Baked Bites in advance of their release and they are everything a cookie lover could dream of—and more. Upon setting the box down in my house, my family blew through it within hours.

“Wow,” proclaimed my teenage son as he popped one bite after bite into his mouth. “These are really good,” said my husband.

As an 80s kid who has always loved the nostalgic bite of a Chips Ahoy cookie, I agree with my family. These new cookie bites are light and flavorful, packed with real chocolate chips, and made without high-fructose corn syrup. The flavors are delightful, and it’s hard to resist tearing into a second package once you’ve finished the first.

The new Chips Ahoy Baked Bites hit major retailers’ shelves on Jan. 8, 2025, and cost less than $4 a box. According to the brand, additional flavors of the treat are on the way, so keep an eye on your snack aisle to try new varieties as they are released.
