Chipotle's Annual Boorito Celebration Is Back — With Some Added Surprises
'Boorito will be bigger than ever.'
We're well into October, which means the spooky season is in full swing. And Chipotle is all treats, no tricks this season, thanks to the return of its famous Boorito.
On Tuesday, the chain announced that it's bringing back its Halloween tradition for one more year by offering customers a discounted entree when they come into its stores in costume from 3 p.m. to close on October 31. However, there is a little fine print here. You must be a Chipotle Rewards member, and, again, you must be in costume. If you have those bases covered, then you can get a $6 entrée offer for any in-restaurant (i.e., no takeout or delivery) order.
But that's not all. Select Chipotle locations in college towns across the U.S. will also remain open until the "stroke of midnight" on Halloween to ensure Gen Z students can get their hands on a tasty late-night snack.

“As an annual Halloween tradition for our fans, we are always looking for ways to level up our celebration,” Chris Brandt, the chief brand officer of Chipotle, shared in a statement provided to Food & Wine. “By extending hours on college campuses and expanding the festivities across two continents for the first time, Boorito will be bigger than ever.”
And, it's got one more surprise for everyone living in Europe. As Chipotle explained in a press release, the Boorito tradition started in the U.S. in 2000 and expanded to Canada in 2009. This year, it's bringing the Boorito party to Europe. Customers in the U.K. and France can pop into their local Chipotle from 3 p.m. to close on October 31 to get a £6 / €7 entrée offer in-restaurant. (It appears no costume is required here.)

Still looking for that perfect costume? Chipotle has you covered there too. As F&W previously reported, in September, the chain released its first-ever costume collection in collaboration with Spirit Halloween, including five costumes inspired by popular Chipotle memes: a Chipotle napkin, fork, water cup, burrito, and to-go bag. Each of the costumes is available exclusively at SpiritHalloween.com and select Spirit Halloween retail locations. So while, yes, you can dress up as anything you wish to get the deal, odds are you'll likely score some brownie points if you walk into your nearest Chipotle dressed as a Chipotle item.
