Chiefs Heiress Gracie Hunt and Mom Tavia Share Their Christmas Traditions (Exclusive)
The Chiefs will travel to Pittsburgh for a road game against the Steelers on Christmas Day
Gracie and Tavia Hunt are ready for the holidays in Kansas City!
While walking the red carpet at the premiere of the Hallmark original movie Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story, the Chiefs heiress, 25, and her mother, 53, tell PEOPLE exclusively that their holiday traditions usually depend on their NFL team's schedule that year.
"A lot of our traditions change based on our Chiefs football schedule. This is the second year we'll be playing on Christmas, which we're really excited about," says Gracie, who makes a cameo in the holiday movie.
"It's actually a fun little family tradition that we now get to do," Gracie adds of the Chiefs' consecutive Christmas Day game.
Before they were spending their Christmases at NFL stadiums cheering on Travis Kelce, Patrick Mahomes and Co., Gracie — whose dad Clark Hunt has been chairman of the Chiefs since 2005 — tells PEOPLE that she remembers a fun holiday tradition her mom started.

"You would always hide pickles in the Christmas tree and we'd have to find this pickle ornament," the Chiefs heiress shares, clarifying that it was "not a real pickle" in the Hunt family tree.
"She'd hide it in the tree and we'd have to go and find it," Gracie explains. "I'll probably continue that one with my family one day."
Tavia tells PEOPLE her family also has a tradition to decide who gets to open the first present on Christmas morning. "Whoever was on their best behavior got to open the first gift," says Tavia, adding, "So there was always a little competition."
The Hunt family got to experience one of their favorite holiday traditions like never before this year when Gracie made a cameo in Holiday Touchdown, which follows a love story between the Chiefs' director of fan engagement (Tyler Hynes) and one of the team’s superfans (Hunter King).
"One of our biggest holiday traditions is Hallmark Christmas movies," says Tavia.
"We love to put on our pajamas and cozy up together and do marathons of Hallmark movies. We have lots of fun and we're looking forward to watching this one on repeat."
Gracie isn't the only familiar face making a cameo in Holiday Touchdown. Donna Kelce also appears in the movie as the manager of a Kansas City barbecue restaurant.

Donna, 72, told PEOPLE on Nov. 29 that she loved that the movie was set in Kansas City.
"It's so much fun for them to be doing the movie in Kansas City for the first time and being in the stadium that I've been here for the past 11 years," said Donna. "So it was just really fun."
The film also features an impressive lineup of other cameos including Jenna Bush Hager, Diedrich Bader, Megyn Price, Richard Riehle, Christine Ebersole, Richard Christie, Chiefs head coach Andy Reid, and a handful of Kansas City Chiefs players.
