“Chicago P.D.”'s Marina Squerciati Reveals She Welcomed Baby No. 2: '2024 Was a BIG Year for Me, Literally'
The actress and husband Eli Kay-Oliphant are already parents to a daughter whom they welcomed in 2017
Surprise! Marina Squerciati is a mom again.
The Chicago P.D. star, 40, announced on Instagram that she welcomed her second baby with husband Eli Kay-Oliphant in 2024. In the post, Squerciati shared a Polaroid of herself pregnant while vacationing at The Miami Beach EDITION in Florida. In the photo, she showed off her bump while wearing a pink bikini and a floppy hat.
She also included a photo of a drawing her older daughter did, which showed herself, her daughter and Kay-Oliphant on what appeared to be a stage. "2024 was a BIG year for me, literally. I thought I handled being a pregnant working mom with grace—swipe to see my daughter’s very different take," Squerciati wrote.

"PS. THIS was the real reason I wasn't in the first two episodes of #ChicagoPD. Have a great NYE, friends!" she wrote at the end of her caption.
PEOPLE reached out to Squerciati's representative for comment on her new arrival.
Squerciati and Kay-Oliphant welcomed their first child, a daughter whose name they haven't shared publicly, in May 2017.
Earlier in December, Squerciati shared a photo of herself and her daughter on Instagram as they attended the Broadway show & Juliet, wearing wigs and sparkly outfits.
"& Juliet. We don't need no stinkin' Romeo. @broadwayinchicago," Squerciati wrote in her caption. "Also I barely made it from work! We slapped on the wigs in the elevator, I ate my dinner on the El Platform, and we had to sprint a few blocks! (Just wanted to give you the reality behind the IG photos 🫠.)"
Just before the election, Squerciati shared another photo on her Instagram featuring the actress and her daughter posing in front of a mailbox and holding her ballot before sending it along. Her daughter could be seen wearing sunglasses and a white dress, holding one end of the envelope.
"Vote early, but make it fashion. @voteearlyday," she wrote in her caption.
