For me, it's always been Muddy Buddies (aka Puppy Chow)—that perfect balance of sweet and crunchy makes for the perfect travel companion.

While the snack might have started as a peanut butter-chocolate treat, Chex has since reinvented Muddy Buddies with a variety of flavors; Cookies & Cream, Brownie Supreme, and even Funfetti. Now, the brand is taking it to the next level with a new flavor inspired by one of the most nostalgic cereals ever, creating a snack mashup that’s already getting fans talking.

New Chex Mix Muddy Buddies Cinnamon Toast Crunch

Chex Mix has really outdone itself with its latest innovation, Cinnamon Toast Crunch Muddy Buddies. This marks the first time the brand has partnered with a cereal to bring a new flavor dimension to its snack line. The brand describes it as “an explosion of sweet and salty with the fan-favorite Cinnamon Toast Crunch flavor dusting each satisfyingly crispy Chex Mix corn piece.” Could that sound any more snackable?

Cinnadust itself—the sweet, cinnamon-sugar seasoning and secret sauce behind the cereal’s craveworthy flavor—has already proven its versatility, making everything from cinnamon rolls to taco shells and even bacon more magical. Fans have gone so far as to declare, “Bury me in Cinnadust!” So, it’s no wonder snackers are excited to see it take center stage in this new mix.

For those who find traditional Muddy Buddies a bit rich, this lighter, cinnamon-forward twist will be an easy one to eat by the handful. One fan speculated they might taste similar to the retired Snickerdoodle Muddy Buddies flavor, but with an added richness from the vanilla coating. “I’m not a big puppy chow fan, but I bet this will be amazing,” one fan shared.
