Cheryl Hines was in the crowd during Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s Senate confirmation hearing.

On Wednesday, Jan. 29, the actress, 59, was photographed beside her husband, 71, as he addressed the Senate during a Senate Finance Committee hearing at the Capitol in Washington, D.C. after President Donald Trump nominated him to lead the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

In one photo, Hines is seen sitting behind Kennedy Jr. as he stands behind a podium and speaks into a microphone.

Another shows her and Kennedy Jr. holding hands in solidarity as they walked into the government building surrounded by others on their team.

The hearing comes a day after Caroline Kennedy came forward with scathing allegations against her cousin, calling him a "predator" and "unqualified" to lead the nation's health policy.

In her shocking six-minute video shared to social media, she said, "I did not comment, not only because I was serving in a government position as United States Ambassador to Australia, but because I have never wanted to speak publicly about my family members and their challenges."

Caroline, who resigned from her political position in November, continued, “But now that Bobby has been nominated by President Trump to be Secretary of Health and Human Services — a position that would put him in charge of the health of the American people — I feel an obligation to speak out."

She went on to criticize her cousin’s conspiracy-laced position against vaccinations, saying that Kennedy Jr. "preys on the desperation of parents of sick children" by advocating against vaccines while vaccinating his own kids.

Kennedy Jr. and Hines have yet to comment on Caroline’s statement.

In November, Kennedy Jr. shared an Instagram post to express his appreciation towards Trump.

"Thank you @realdonaldtrump for your leadership and courage. I’m committed to advancing your vision to Make America Healthy Again,” he wrote. “We have a generational opportunity to bring together the greatest minds in science, medicine, industry and government to put an end to the chronic disease epidemic.”

Kennedy Jr. continued, "I look forward to working with the more than 80,000 employees at HHS to free the agencies from the smothering cloud of corporate capture so they can pursue their mission to make Americans once again the healthiest people on Earth."
