Secretary of Health and Human Services Robert F. Kennedy Jr. doesn’t carry the same sway at home with his wife, actress Cheryl Hines, as he does at the Capitol. And with good reason.

The Curb Your Enthusiasm star has given her 71-year-old husband a “strict ultimatum” to relocate her to Washington D.C. with him, just months after a cheating scandal rocked their marriage, sources told the Daily Mail.

Hines, 59, fears that her notoriously flirty husband might be tempted by other women if she continues to stay put in Hollywood away from him, the insiders claimed.

“Cheryl doesn’t feel Bobby can be trusted one iota living on his own, in D.C., even part-time, with so many attractive women and Kennedy groupies around, as he gets settled in his powerful new position,” one insider told the Daily Mail. “So she’s given him a strict ultimatum – move me or else.”

When contacted by the Daily Beast, Hines’ representative said: “I have a strict policy to never comment on my client’s personal life.”

A spokesperson for Kennedy could not immediately be reached.

The ultimatum comes after the health secretary was involved in a very public scandal in which he was accused of sexting with a woman half his age as recently as September of last year.

Former New York Magazine’s Washington correspondent Olivia Nuzzi, 32, struck up an unlikely relationship with Kennedy while she was reporting on the 2024 campaign. The alleged affair ended Nuzzi’s two-year engagement with Politico‘s chief Washington correspondent Ryan Lizza.

By comparison, Kennedy came out relatively unscathed. Despite divorce rumors, Hines decided to stick by him. Plus, he gained a powerful position in the Capitol, under his fellow adulterator President Donald Trump.

In fact, it would seem like Kennedy is the only one not suffering for his misconduct.

Hines is “absolutely still recovering from the emotional shock and pain” she experienced because of her husband’s self-proclaimed “lust demons,” sources told the Daily Mail. So much so, that “blindsided” Hines reportedly can’t trust her husband of over 10 years to faithfully be “even a part-time bachelor” in the nation’s capital.

Since the debacle, Hines has stayed close by Kennedy’s side—appearing with him at his contentious confirmation hearing and swearing-in ceremony.

The couple currently share a $6 million estate in Brentwood, L.A., however sources claim that “Cheryl’s willing to sacrifice all that glamorous lifestyle to become a political wife, move to D.C. forthwith, and live in trendy Georgetown, so she can keep a close watch on Bobby.”
