Kevin Hart Was Absolutely Horrified By Chelsea Handler's Personal Hygiene Habits — Yup, That's Right, It's Another Convo On Cleanliness

Once a year, we learn more and more just how different we all are when it comes to our personal hygiene habits and what people consider "clean."

And celebrities have even weighed in to share how they keep themselves cleansed throughout the day, including Taylor Swift who compared using shaving cream on your legs to washing her legs while chatting with Ellen DeGeneres.

Then there was a married couple, Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis, who revealed they don't believe in washing themselves or their kids with soap every day, unless they "see dirt on them."

Whereas retired NFL star Jason Kelce admitted he only thought it was "necessary" to wash your "hot spots" on a regular basis...

...which apparently didn't include his legs or feet.

And while he posted about a study that claimed people who wash their feet are creating more bacteria...

...the fact-checker on X (formerly known as Twitter) actually proved the opposite. According to the National Center of Biotechnology Information, a study called “Factors Influencing Microbiological Biodiversity of Human Foot Skin” was conducted in 2019, and concluded, “The number of bacteria increased with diminishing feet-washing frequency.”

Well, there's another celeb who also follows the "hot spot" guideline when it comes to bathing: Chelsea Handler. On a recent episode of her podcast, Dear Chelsea, the comedian opened up about the parts of her body that she focuses on in the shower. Let's just say her friend and guest on the show, Kevin Hart, was shocked to say the least.

On her show, fans ask Chelsea for her advice on things happening in their lives (relationship problems, work dilemmas, life in general, etc.), each varying from extreme to downright ridiculous.

While discussing a couple who bathed their dog in the only bathtub in their house, Kevin jokingly took a wild guess at the race of the fans who wrote in: "I'm gonna guess that these people are white? As a matter of fact, I'm willing to bet the farm on this one."

This then led Chelsea to reveal that some of her Black friends have called her out for allowing her dog to sleep in her bed and for not washing her legs.

"Why do my legs need to be washed? They're fucking covered all day," Chelsea said. "It's not like my legs are going out without me."

"When I take a shower, all the soap from my shower comes down [as she points to her legs]," Chelsea added. "It's not like my legs are out there gardening all day without me."

"That's so bad," Kevin said. "You fucking wash your legs!" To which she responded, "No, I don't think so." In disbelief, Kevin responded, "What do you mean you don't think so? It's your body. You wash your body, Chelsea...your entire body. You don't pick and choose."

But the former talk show host confirmed that she actually does pick and choose, revealing that she has "hot spots" that she cleans in the shower.

Kevin's reaction after she mentioned that is now permanently burned into my brain.

Chelsea then indicated which areas she considered hot spots. She proceeded to point to her armpits, vagina, butt, and head. "Everything is fine after that," she said.

Although Kevin tried to convince her to wash her entire body due to sweat and other "hot spots" she might not be familiar with, Chelsea refused to budge on her stance. This pushed the Fight Night star to question if she uses a washcloth while she bathes. She responded, "No," and at that point he wasn't surprised at all.

They settled the conversation by agreeing their cultural differences influenced the way they view personal hygiene. I grew up washing my entire body from behind my ears to in-between my toes, and that was all done with a washcloth, shower gloves, loofa, or net.

And since our audience is so diverse, I want to know your thoughts on this topic.
