Chelsea Handler Is Ready to Spill 'Lots of Tea' in New Netflix Comedy Special “The Feeling” (Exclusive)

Chelsea Handler is bringing her humor back to our screens!

PEOPLE has an exclusive first look at Handler’s new comedy special, Chelsea Handler: The Feeling, which will be released on March 25 on Netflix. In the clip, Handler, 49, shares her unpopular opinion of one sport, which she argues isn’t really a sport at all.

“I blame COVID for pickleball, right?” she says. “We didn't have to hear about f---ing pickleball before COVID. That is not a subject that I can take seriously. When people bang on and on about pickleball — that is not real exercise, okay, so shut the f--- up about it!”

“You would burn more calories shoving an actual pickle up your ass on a pickleball court than playing a game of pickleball,” she jokes.

In addition to her hatred for pickleball, Handler’s third Netflix comedy special will feature her “recounting her own birth, unexpected encounters, her adolescent business ventures and a frenzy of ill-timed events all motivated by ‘the feeling,’” according to the official logline.

And while some topics she mentions are more controversial than pickleball, Handler tells PEOPLE she doesn’t regret a thing.

“I stand by my comments about pickleball. I also stand by my stories about Andrew Cuomo, George W. Bush, and Bill Cosby,” she says. “I shared lots of tea in this special, just when I thought there was no more tea to spill.”

The Dear Chelsea podcast host's past standup special, called Chelsea Handler: Evolution, was released in 2020 and later received a Grammy nomination for best comedy album. Then, in 2022, she launched Chelsea Handler: Revolution, directed by her then-boyfriend Jo Koy.

"The celebrated, award-winning comedian lets loose on her life – including her choice to remain childless and alone (with the exception of her dogs), dating during the pandemic while her family invades her home, and her vision for a future where men don't wear flip flops," the logline of the latter read.

Handler also has the release of her seventh book, I’ll Have What She’s Having, coming up on Feb. 25, along with her Las Vegas residency, Chelsea at The Chelsea, kicking off on March 21 at The Cosmopolitan.
