Cheating husband caught through Coles and Bunnings Flybuys: 'Gave it up for extra points'
An Aussie private investigator has detailed how she helped a woman catch out her cheating husband through their joint Flybuys account.
A private investigator has shared how she caught a husband cheating on his wife by diving into his Flybuys account, with his shopping activity at stores like Coles, Kmart and Bunnings proving that he had been lying about his location to his spouse.
Cass runs Venus Investigations - a female-run investigative business that does background checks, on-ground mobile surveillance, and social media and dating deep dives to help women navigate their love lives, find out if the person they're dating is doing anything shady, and catch out cheating spouses.
"I want women’s experience at Venus Investigations to feel like talking to a friend - except instead of just feeling a little better, you get the power of answers," Cass told Yahoo Lifestyle about her business.
Husband caught out cheating through his Flybuys account
Cass was hired by a woman who assumed her husband was cheating but couldn't prove it.
"They lived in Queensland, and he was going on these trips to see his family in New South Wales pretty regularly, which he didn't used to do," she shared on TikTok in a video that now has over 60k views.
"So she checked his bank accounts and there was stuff on there like Coles and Bunnings, but we don't know where that was happening, we didn't have details of who was there, so that didn't really help us, so what I said to her was like, 'Got any joint rewards accounts, like Everyday rewards, Flybuys that kind of thing?" Cass continued.
It turns out the couple had a joint Flybuys account, so Cass and the woman opened the app up and the transactions for Coles, Kmart, Bunnings and other stores came through, with the suburb where the man shopped.
The issue? The suburb he was shopping in, was in Queensland and the same suburb where his ex-girlfriend resides, not New South Wales where he told his wife he was.
"So bro gave it up for a few extra reward points," Cass finished.

People shared their own experiences of cheating partners in the comments. "Nailed it! Caught mine the same way," one woman said. "Linkt account caught my ex cheating," another person said, about a joint e-tag account.
Why are women turning to private investigators when navigating relationships?
Cass said women often hire her for one reason: Gaslighting.
"Some of the women I speak with have had a gut feeling for months, even years, but their partner has explained everything away or called them crazy," she shared. "They just want the truth. Good or bad."
Cass explained the process of Venus Investigations, saying it all starts with a free chat before the team builds out a custom investigation plan.
"Where possible, we will get the information they need through online investigation as that’s much cheaper for the client than on-ground surveillance but the majority do require me to jump in the car with a camera or two," she told Yahoo Lifestyle.

"During on-ground surveillance, the client is updated daily on the progress and can decide at any point to end the investigation, whether we have evidence yet or not. Once the investigation ends, we prepare a detailed report including video and photographic evidence.
"Another thing we do (that most standard agencies don’t) is check in post-investigation to see how the client is and point them to any resources or help they may need."
