Charming New Dog Café in Paris Is Inspiring Pet Parents to Pack Their Bags
We've all heard a lot about cat cafés, especially when they were very trendy a few years ago. But if you ask me, there aren't nearly enough dog cafés, especially for the number of people who love to bring their dogs everywhere they go. And no, there aren't enough restaurants that offer outdoor seating and allow four-legged diners to solve this problem, either.
Leave it to Paris, France to solve this problem for us — and in the most chic way, as you can image. This café looks like such a cool place to check out if you happen to be in Paris (and also happen to bring your dog with you for the trip) anytime soon. The local dog parents are so lucky to have this spot!
Recently, Paris local @leparisienpoodle shared this glimpse of a new dog café right in the city on Instagram, and everyone is going nuts over it. It's easy to see why — not only is it adorable, but it also involves seeing plenty of cute pups while you sip your coffee!
And it's not just a place where dogs are welcome, either; it's also a place where dogs are treated like the customers they are. They sell dog treats (including ones that are shaped like croissants) and little dog-sized berets, too. So cute.
There's even a bin of toys and a fenced-in play area for pups to play while their humans enjoy their own snacks.
It wouldn't be a dog café if there wasn't a pup cup on the menu, and it certainly seems like there is, judging by the dog happily slurping up some whipped cream out of a paper cup at the end of the video.
Do you think they'd mind if I just moved in?
More About the Paris Dog Café
The café is, appropriately enough, called Le Bone Appart, and looking at their Instagram account will probably make you fall even more in love!
As a dog person, the café owner also brings her own pup, Napoleon, to work with her, which seems to have really made her in tune with what dogs really want out of a place like this (see: the box of free sticks in this video).
There's also a wall of photos of the café doggy patrons, and more than just the berets are for sale — they also sell vegan leather dog accessories like leashes and collars.
And fortunately, in the comments of one of her recent posts, someone asked if it's okay to come by without a dog and enjoy the adorable views, and the owner said that everyone's welcome there. Phew!
This place is amazing. It definitely seems worth checking out if you're in Paris (with or without your dog).
