Charlie's Angels star Tom Green debuts new look after quitting Hollywood
Audiences might remember him as oddball tugboat owner Chad in Charlie's Angels, which he starred in alongside his then-wife, Drew Barrymore.
Or perhaps his turn as a 20-something slacker in the raunchy 2001 comedy, Freddy Got Fingered is more memorable.
Either way, comedian and actor Tom Green looks a far cry from his Hollywood days since quitting Los Angeles and moving to a rustic wood cabin in Ontario, Canada.
The 50-year-old star — who was born Michael Thomas Green — made the sea change in July last year after decades living in La-La land pursuing his film, TV and stand-up careers.
Tom now calls Ottawa home, where he lives on a sprawling rural property that features a large lake and plenty of forest for him and his dog, Charlie to explore.

Taking to Instagram just a few days after settling in, Tom spoke about feeling 'so lucky' to have been able to make such a 'huge change' in his life.
"I am grateful to have made it through such a tough year when so many others were not as fortunate. I felt the need to be closer to nature. Glad to have had all of you along for the ride," he wrote alongside a photo of a barn.
The Road Trip star, who was born in Ontario, told Ottawa Magazine in a recent interview that living in the US never really felt like home to him.
"When I’m in Ottawa, I definitely feel a sense of being home. When I was in Los Angeles, it was always exciting and cool to be there, but it never really felt like home.
"There’s a little bit more of a laid-back attitude, lots of green space and outdoor places to go walking without the congestion and some of the negative things that come with being in some huge cities."
He told the publication that he's focusing on his music and photography, with plans to exhibit some of the photos he took on a recent year-long road trip journey across the States.
Tom and Drew reunited
Tom Green rose to fame in the mid-'90s with his public access variety show, The Tom Green Show which was picked up by MTV in 1999.
At around the same time, he met former child star, Drew Barrymore, who was a fan of his show and asked him to appear with her in Charlie's Angels.
Tom played Chad, Drew's character Dylan's lovestruck boyfriend who ferries the 'Angels' to a secret location in his tugboat.
Drew returned the favour and took a role in Tom's 2001 film, Freddy Got Fingered which he also directed.
Tom and Drew took their romance off-screen and in July 2000 announced their engagement. The pair were married almost a year later but filed for divorce that same December, citing irreconcilable differences.
After their split, Tom appeared in comedy films Stealing Harvard (2002), and Shred (2008) while also hosting an internet talk show, Tom Green's House Tonight from his living room.
After not speaking face to face for about 15 years, former couple Tom and Drew were (virtually) reunited in an episode of The Drew Barrymore Show in 2020.
"I have always been attracted to visionaries, comedians and people who make me laugh," Drew said, introducing her ex. "I was so attracted to our next guest I even married him!"
Drew asked Tom back on the show the following year when relaxed social distancing measures allowed them to be together in the same studio.
