“Charlie's Angels” Alum Shelley Hack Makes Rare Public Appearance in Connecticut

The 77-year-old Charlie's Angels alum was seen on a grocery run in Connecticut on Saturday, April 5, in photos obtained by PEOPLE. She was dressed casually in a fleece jacket and black pants while running errands.
Hack is best known for her modeling career and season-long run as Tiffany Welles on Charlie's Angels, which she starred in alongside Jaclyn Smith, Farrah Fawcett and Cheryl Ladd. She joined as Tiffany, a new Angel, in season 4 after Kate Jackson's exit.
In 1979, she told PEOPLE she was "having fun" after securing the role as the newest Angel, but admitted she "wasn’t interested in a TV series" beforehand. "But my agent said, ‘Go to L.A. and test for Charlie’s Angels.'"

“Maybe the show will make me a star overnight, maybe it won’t. First of all I’m having fun. Of course it’s fluff, but high-grade fluff. You don’t compare Agatha Christie to Tolstoy. It’s a great job and I’m in front of the camera every day."
