Charli and Dixie D’Amelio Partner with Lulus on a ‘Comfortable, Stylish and Classic’ Line of Shoes (Exclusive)

The sisters chatted with PEOPLE exclusively about D’Amelio Footwear’s latest business move — a collaboration with Lulus — and why they make the “best siblings” in business and outside of work

Charli and Dixie D’Amelio are checking off another D’Amelio Footwear milestone.

The TikTokers and reality television stars, 20 and 22, chatted with PEOPLE exclusively about expanding their shoe brand through a partnership with women's fashion company Lulus as a part of its “Lulus Loves” campaign.

“I feel like it matches the vibe of what D'Amelio Footwear is perfectly,” says Charli of the collection, which is now available to shop on lulus.com.

“It's so much fun and colorful and magical," adds Dixie of both the collection and the D'Amelio Footwear display at the Lulus Melrose store in Los Angeles, where they held meet-and-greet events on July 27.

Lulus is equally as excited to embark on this new journey with the social media personalities. "Partnering with D'Amelio Footwear aligns with our long-term vision of growth through collaborations with influential brands," Laura Deady, Lulus chief merchandising officer, shared in a press release.

Since 2023, the siblings, alongside their parents Marc and Heidi D’Amelio, have been designing shoes that are fashion-forward, high quality and overall accessible.

Charli and Dixie’s checklist was no different when it came to collaborating with Lulus on the new line, which houses shoes and heels perfect for everyday or if you’re looking to spice up your wardrobe with styles that are a little more glam.

“There's just so many everyday pairs of shoes,” says Charli of the pieces that she describes as “comfortable, stylish and classic.”

“But there are also so many that stand out,” adds Dixie, definitely referring to the number of statement-making options, such as the snake-print stilettos and the hot pink platforms.

Still, they wanted to get out of their comfort zone and really looked at ways they could build on their aesthetic.

“Being able to incorporate the things that we feel like we're missing in the shoes that we already had, and making them better, more comfortable” was Charli's favorite part about the entire process.

The success of D’Amelio Footwear is all down to the family dynamic between its namesake founders, and when it comes to Charli and Dixie’s friend-like relationship, what you see online is truly what you get.

Dixie says that when the sisters disagree with each other, they can bounce back in no time and often find a way to meet in the middle. “It's never like, ‘My way or no way.’”

“It's a lot easier than people would think,” agrees Charli.“We don't really fight. There's just no need.”

And to that, Dixie jokingly adds: “We think we're perfect, though, together. We're the best siblings.”

They also have an “honesty’s the best policy” type of communication when it comes to non-work conversations, like when they’re giving each other advice on each other's personal style. 

“We're both very honest with each other, and we'll tell each other the truth. If we explain why we like it or something, then the other also accepts that. We don't judge each other for having opinions,” says Dixie.

Although their work with Lulus just hit the market, Charli and Dixie are still in business mode, figuring out D'Amelio Footwear's next drop — which might have to do with one of Charli's furry friends.

"They're my babies, so it's special to have that a part of it," she teases without dropping any more details. You'll just have to wait and see!
