Channing Tatum’s Go-To Spot for Fried Chicken Is This Grocery Store

We love it when celebrities don’t hold back about their favorite foods. While they surely enjoy their share of upscale meals, sometimes we find out that their go-to dishes are surprisingly relatable. For example, we know that Selena Gomez’s favorite snack requires three simple ingredients you can find at any grocery store and that Timothée Chalamet is known to grab a Trader Joe’s pizza when the late-night cravings hit.

Now, another celebrity has revealed one of their favorite meals, and it’s one we love too.

Channing Tatum’s Favorite Store-Bought Fried Chicken

Channing Tatum recently sat down with his "Blink Twice" co-star Naomi Ackie for a game of "Snack Wars: USA vs UK," during which they shared opinions on various food and beverages. As the video began, Tatum and Ackie were presented with fried chicken from two places: Popeyes' Fried Chicken with Cajun Gravy and Greggs' (a UK bakery chain) Chicken Bake. Tatum was immediately excited to see a familiar restaurant, stating, "This is easy. This is not even a fight," before biting into a piece of Popeyes chicken.

It didn't take long before Tatum casually revealed that one of his favorite places to grab fried chicken was from a Southern grocery store. "The only place that I would actually say that will beat Popeyes fried chicken, other than local places all around the south, is Publix," said Tatum. "It is not to be played with. It is so good," he added.

Unsurprisingly, Tatum isn't the only one who loves Publix fried chicken. The retailer's fried chicken wings are so delicious that they earned a spot on our Allstars list of best store-bought shortcuts. The Florida-based retailer is also known for its stacked sub sandwiches, party-worthy grab-and-go deli items, and cakes, which fans love so much that some even order them for their weddings.

So the next time you find yourself without a plan for dinner, be sure to stop by Publix on your way home and grab this fan-favorite meal, which the whole family is sure to love.
