Céline Dion has spoken out about ‘worry’ from her fans surrounding her health and weight, since the passing of her husband René Angélil three years ago.

In an interview with A Current Affair’s Tracey Grimshaw, the Canadian megastar assured her fans she was perfectly fine, despite the constant chatter about her weight online.

“I’ve always been very thin, you know that right?” she told Tracey.

“Sometimes it’s the fashion; some of the things they make me look thinner. [Or it’s] the angles, and just for them [her fans] to know, sometimes they [magazines] add, or they take off, they can change a few little things,” she added.

The songstress, who has just released her first English album in years called Courage, said she was touched her fans cared so much about her that they worried when they see her on “the thinner side”.

“It touches me that they care that much,” she said, before adding she loves life too much to hide if she wasn’t fine.

Céline also spoke about how she had never done anything for herself until she decided to take up ballet last year, during her Las Vegas residency.

Although her vigorous schedule - four shows a week at the Caesar’s Palace, followed by three house of training - left Tracey a little gobsmacked.

Earlier this year, Céline - who has children René-Charles, 18, and Nelson and Eddy, nine, with her late spouse - promised she would share everything with her fans if she does find someone and has a serious relationship with them.

She said at the time: “Am I going to have a partner in my life? We'll stay tuned, and if I do, I will share it and it would be a pleasure to share it.

“It's a chapter that's closed, but it's not something that's dead. You evolve and maybe sometimes you meet a friend and it turns out into something bigger than that. Who knows and maybe not? But I will let you know. I promise.”

Fans worry for 'scarily thin' Céline Dion after fashion week

Her fans have regularly shared their fears for the Canadian superstar online, after they thought she looked ‘too thin’ during various appearances.

Celine was front and centre during Paris Fashion week earlier this year, where one particular outfit caused some worry.

Vogue Australia shared a photo of Celine wearing an Iris van Herpen outfit, but while it’s received thousands of likes, many fans have shared their fears for the singer.

“She looks way too thin,” was one concerned comment.

“Fab voice and fashionista, but my God she looks scarily thin,” another wrote.

“I’ve seen her in a few posts and she is seriously underweight. Not a good look,” another person commented.X
