Carolina Castiglioni Gives a Lesson in Chic Workwear in Plan C Fall 2025 Collection

After Carolina Castiglioni’s big debut in menswear last year comes a strong fall 2025 collection that reflects her signature codes across genders in a cool and credible way. Rather than tweaking women’s concepts for men, this time she simply mirrored the same pieces, which amplified even more the versatility behind her personal take on fashion.

By now the designer has attracted aficionados that rely on her taste and natural talent for color combinations to make their everyday outfits a little more interesting, often by injecting subtle twists to basics and other wardrobe archetypes. They will find plenty to like this time around, too, especially if workwear was on their 2025 wishlist.

Castiglioni revisited its functional appeal via workwear jackets treated for a wax-like effect or reinterpreted their pocketed silhouettes in silk duchesse for an unpredictable and more elevated result. Cute cropped bomber jackets with drawstrings and removable nylon hoods came with a matching cargo skirt, creating a new utilitarian suit that Castiglioni styled with pussy-bow blouses and shirts in pastel tones.

The juxtaposition between more structured and mannish fabrications on the outside and lightweight, fluid textiles underneath continued throughout the collection. It was heightened by a color palette flanking intense shades of burgundy, chocolate, gray and blue with pastel pink, lilac and cerulean.

The designer’s eccentric vein shone through as knitted high-collar bibs, nylon hoods and accessories in pops of primary hues, and stood out in some statement pieces, including a graphic nylon cape and a shearling jacket that could be reversed and worn to show its crackled black interior instead.

Lightweight trenchcoats and pleated wool skirts embellished with detachable feathers, fluid dresses and trompe-l’oeil knits were also compelling options to zhuzh up everyday dressing.
