Cardi B’s Latest Body Piercing Is Not for the Faint of Heart!

We love turning to our fave celebrities for all kinds of fashion inspo, and that includes piercing inspo. Whether it's Zoe Kravitz's conch piercing, Florence Pugh's septum ring or even Kim Kardashian green-lighting the return of the Y2K belly button piercing, there's no shortage of A-list ear stacks and body jewelry to get us wanting to go under the needle (again).

However, it's safe to say I'm not so sure that Cardi B's latest piercing will have the same kind of influence (spoiler: it looks painful). The artist took to X (formerly Twitter) on Monday to share her new aesthetic update in a somewhat dubious location with her followers. Getting straight to the point, she wrote, “Soooo …….i got my butt crack pierced 🤭.”

The response from fans saw many asking the same question, with one X user replying, “That's possible?” and another jokingly adding, “sounds like a pain in the ass!”

Quick to shut down any doubt regarding the authenticity of her announcement, Cardi followed up her initial post with photo evidence of said butt crack piercing in reply to one X account's request for, “photo or it didn’t happen.”

The photo featured an up-close image of a silver barbell piercing bar amongst the colorful design of her instantly recognizable statement thigh tattoo that wraps around her backside. Cardi captioned the photo, “Do I lie?”

Well, it certainly seems like she doesn't. All that's left to say is each to their own, I guess.
