Camilla goes barefoot but doesn't break royal protocol

The Duchess of Cornwall and husband Prince Charles took a romantic stroll along a beach during a whirlwind tour of Northern and the Republic of Ireland.

While they took time out of their hectic schedule, they pair looked relaxed and happy, with Camilla even removing her shoes for the occasion.

But don’t worry avid royal watchers! The Duchess did not break protocol.

Walking on Derrynane beach in Kerry, Camilla kept her nude tights on as they took in their surroundings.

As we’ve learnt with Duchess Meghan’s inception into the royal family, all royal women are required to wear tights during public occasions.

In an interview with Insider, royal expert Victoria Arbiter said: “You never see a royal without their nude stockings. I would say that’s really the only hard, steadfast rule in terms of what the Queen requires.”

Prince Charles, although obviously not required to wear tights, looked dapper in a grey suit and opted to keep his shoes on.

How delightful an outing!
