Cameron Brink Teases the Bridal Looks She Wants to Wear for Her Wedding: 'We're Going to Play Around' (Exclusive)

Cameron Brink is already thinking about the bridal looks she’s going to wear when she walks down the aisle.

The WNBA athlete and Urban Decay ambassador, 23, is soaking in newly engaged bliss after her boyfriend Ben Felter arranged a romantic Parisian proposal in September 2024. Amid the excitement, she’s looking ahead and thinking about her wedding wardrobe.

“I would love to go with a designer like Vera Wang,” the Los Angeles Sparks star tells PEOPLE in an exclusive interview. With her eyes set on “something classic,” Brink adds she’s going to pull inspiration from her “icon” Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy, who wore a timeless Narciso Rodriguez design for her wedding to John F. Kennedy Jr.

“I'm so tall that I just want to have something very elegant. Nothing too crazy, so we're going to play around. I feel like my favorite part is going to be trying on all the dresses.”

She’s even envisioned what her rehearsal and reception looks are going to be. “I want to do a white suit,” she says, adding, “My mom [Michelle Bain-Brink] made me obsessed with a nice tailored suit.”

Brink's proposal took place at the Shangri-La Paris Hotel after she attended the Balenciaga show for Paris Fashion Week — and the entire affair was a total shock.

Felter, who just started his fifth year as a graduate in Stanford's computer science program, told her he’d be working on the West Coast while she was in Europe.

“He turned off his [phone] location and he flew to Paris with his mom without me knowing. It was probably one of the best days ever in my life,” Brink gushes.

The special moment was so much of a surprise that Brink, unaware that Felter was about to pop the question, wanted to wear a "scandalous" dress for the Fashion Week party she thought she was attending.

“I thought I was walking up to an afterparty situation and it was him waiting there. It was just really, really sweet of him to come all the way to do that and then we literally left the next day. It was a very short trip for him to do all of that. So yeah, engaged life is the best.”
