Caitlyn Jenner Has Bold Reaction to O.J. Simpson's Death

Caitlyn Jenner is offering up a very blunt reaction to the news of O.J. Simpson's death.

The former Olympian, who was married to Kris Jenner—Simpson's good friend and lawyer, Robert Kardashian's, ex-wife—during the time of his double murder trial in the 1990s, was understandably a close bystander of the traumas unraveled by the controversial situation.

As a result, Caitlyn's response to the former NFL star's passing was as simple as can be: "Good Riddance."

Her note was followed by a hashtag, making it clear exactly what and who she was referring to, as she included, "#OJSimpson," in the April 11 social media post.

The football Hall of Famer, who was embroiled in controversy, became most notable for being accused of the double-murder of his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend, Ron Goldman, in 1994. Kris and Nicole were said to be very close friends.

Caitlyn has previously opened up about the whole ordeal on different occasions, sharing in 2021 during Big Brother VIP that she believes Simpson "got away" with the murders, before explaining how she was affected.

"It was an extraordinarily difficult time. Nicole was Kris' best friend. Had been for a long time," she said. "I was at Nicole's house two days before the murder."

"Obviously he did it, and he got away with it, and at one point he even told Nicole, 'I'll kill you and get away with it 'cause I'm O.J. Simpson,'" Jenner said on the show.

She also doubled down on her opinion of the former broadcaster in her autobiography, The Secrets Of My Life, not mincing words about how she really felt about him. Among other things, she noted that he was "the most narcissistic, egocentric, neediest a***ole in the world of sports I had ever seen, and I had seen a lot of them."

Though acquitted, Simpson was later deemed liable for the deaths in 1997 in a civil case brought by the two victims' families.
