If you can’t wait to kick back with friends and family to enjoy a drink outside this summer, you may want to check this out.

BWS is giving away 20,000 six-packs of beer from today to customers when they purchase a six-pack in store.

The free beer on offer is to celebrate parts of Australia easing lockdown restrictions and opening back up, as Aussies start planning their picnics, BBQs and get-togethers.

BWS Head of Marketing Vanessa Rowed said: “Lockdowns and restrictions have made us long for those much-needed social interactions".

"But there is light at the end of the tunnel, and we are celebrating by encouraging Aussies to get together and share drinks with their mates.

“We're passionate about making it easy for Aussies to connect with friends and family and there's nothing more Australian than connecting over some great beers.”

How to score free beer from BWS

So, how do you get your hands of these freebies? It’s simple. As long as you are over the age of 18, you just need to create an account with BWS via their app or website.

When shoppers purchase two six-packs of XXXX DRY or James Squire Zero, they will receive their second one for free at the checkout.

“We chose these two brews as they’re perfect to share and great for the warmer weather. XXXX DRY is a refreshing, full-strength lager, while James Squire Zero is a full-flavoured non-alcoholic beer option,” Ms Rowed said.

BWS has also made some changes to the availability of one of their most poplar beers.

Until recently, XXXX DRY was only available in the Northern Territory and Queensland, but the popularity of the beer meant the company reviewed its availability.

It became available nationally in September. James Squire Zero was also recently launched nationally, becoming available to all Aussies in August.

To get your free bevvies, head to BWS website.

But you better get in quick, the offer is capped to the first 20,000 redemptions.
