Britney's 'stage jumper' speaks out
He caused a commotion when he rushed Britney Spears last week, and now the man who jumped the stage has spoken out for the first time.
Jesse Webb has revealed just how he managed to get on-stage with the pop star during a Las Vegas show, with The Morning Show reporting the 37-year-old said he was just "excited" to dance with Brit.
"I saw Britney’s security coming towards me and I kind of thought ‘Maybe I need to get off stage now’ so as I was doing that that’s when I felt his arm go around my neck and then he flipped and that’s when I saw Britney’s back up dancers came towards me and tackled me a little bit," Jesse said recalling the moment he was wrestled off stage.
The Kansas City man explained that he never intending to harm Britney, despite initial confusion that he was carrying a gun when he jumped up on stage.
"I am a huge Britney fan and if it was that easy for me to get on stage that kind of says something about what everyone is griping about, now that her security is going to be stepped up. Maybe it should be because now she is going to be more safe and I love Britney to death and I would never do anything or want anybody to harm her," he said.
Last week the 35-year-old Piece Of Me singer was in the middle of performing when Jesse jumped on stage.
