Bride stirs controversy with see-through wedding dress: 'Worst choice'

On a day when most brides aim for timeless elegance, one woman's choice of wedding attire has gone viral on social media for all the wrong reasons. Opting for a semi-sheer outfit, this blushing bride turned heads and unwittingly sparked a social media frenzy.

The bride donned a white jumpsuit adorned with elaborate ruffles down the leg with a bodysuit visible underneath.

Adding to the unconventional aesthetic, the bride's dance partner, presumably the groom, sported a much more traditional and classic ensemble, featuring smart black trousers, a waistcoat, and a white shirt.

After photos of the outfit were shared on a widely-followed Facebook group dedicated to 'wedding shaming,' users didn't mince their words when expressing their views on the non-traditional selection.

The sheerness of the lace, coupled with the tight-fitting trousers, left many scratching their heads, with one user chiming in: "Of all the choices, why make the pants skinny? Worst choice!"

"This is her wedding night outfit, and she got confused," suggested another, hinting that the ensemble resembled lingerie.

"I'd rather eat it than wear it in front of my family," wrote another.

Amid the ongoing online conversation, a handful of individuals came to the bride's defence. While there were those who criticised the bold choice, others commended the bride for exuding body confidence.

One supportive comment read, "I do love the confidence she has, I wish I did. I just don't get the outfit at all."
