Here's the ultimate break down of the season 2 finale of Squid Game.

So, wait, there was a huge fight right before this...

After a fight breaks out in the men's bathroom leaving three players who votes yes and two players who voted no in the last voting round dead, Gi-hun tells his allies that the guards have a special night set up where they allow the players to attack each other. He sets up a strategy where they all lay down during the fight to survive and then they attack the guards when they try to scan their chips. While another bloody frenzy breaks out that leaves players dead on both sides, Gi-hun's plan works out as they start to attack the guards who have come in and kill them. They leave one alive in the hopes that he takes them to the main control center.

What happens to them as they try to take over?

Hyun-ju (Player 120) uses her military background to help lead the group as they try to make their way over the control room. However, a bunch of Pink Guards quickly find them and shoot at them, leaving Player 072 dead and Dae-ho (Player 388) starts to panic.

Gi-hun decides to push forward and while In-ho proposes that he goes with him, Gi-hun decides to take Jung-bae with him instead. As the two head up a purple hallway, they end up facing some more Pink Guards who start to attack them. They try to shoot back at them one-by-one and seemingly kill a few, but they soon run out of ammo.

Short on ammo on their side as well, Dae-ho decides to head back to the main room to try to get extra bullets that are in the pockets of the dead Pink Guards there. However, when he gets back there, he has a panic attack and is unable to return to give everyone else the bullets. Hyun-ju moves back to the main room to check on Dae-ho, but is too late as new Pink Guards decide to come in before she is able to go back to the rest of the group.

What about the ones who went on ahead?

In-ho leads Players 047 and 015 up the purple stairs and through a different side to help Gi-hun and Jung-bae take over the other side. However, he kills both players, which forces everyone to surrender knowing they are not going to make it through to the control group. Players 145 and 246, Gyung-seok AKA the father from the amusement park whose daughter is sick, are killed by the guards.

The Front Man, back and masked, appears before Gi-hun and Jung-bae and asks Gi-hun if he had playing the hero and notes that he has to "witness the consequences of your little game," before he shoots and kills Jung-bae.
