A Brand-New $29.8 Million Home in Boulder Comes With Both Indoor and Outdoor Pools
Colorado may be better known for its hiking and skiing than for its swimming, but a Boulder estate that just hit the market is a water lover’s paradise.
The seven-bedroom, 11-bath abode is a new build from Surround Architecture and builder Tom Stanko. Listed at $29.8 million, it’s the most expensive home currently for sale in Boulder, with Steve Remmert at Compass handling the eye-catching listing. While all sorts of amenities sit among the 1.3-acre lot, the real highlight is the two pools—one indoor and the other outdoor—so you can paddle about at any time of the year.

The interiors are nothing to scoff at, either. The glass-encased front door leads you into the great room, which feels even more expansive thanks to 25-foot tongue-and-groove ceilings and panoramic windows. The kitchen sports two islands—one steel, one quartz—and a walnut breakfast nook for casual meals. Here on the main floor, you’ll also find a mudroom with walnut built-ins, an office space, a gym, and the indoor pool, which sits beneath a wood-beamed ceiling alongside a bone-colored stacked stone wall.
The primary suite, also on the main level, is anchored by a dual-sided fireplace. And when the weather’s warm enough, retractable glass walls open up to the yard. Custom closets have space for all your clothes, and the spa-like bathroom sports marble vanities and a steam-equipped indoor shower, plus a full infrared sauna big enough to invite some friends. Three en suite bedrooms are upstairs, with another two on the lower level.
On the bottom floor, you’ll find another of the home’s standouts: a state-of-the-art movie theater with a 13.5-foot Stewart screen, lounge seating, and, snacks being one of the most important parts of movie watching, a refreshment area.
Along with a gas fireplace and a Lynx grill, the outdoor pool is accompanied by an indoor-outdoor hot tub. While the Boulder home is undeniably impressive when it comes to both price and amenities, it may be bested by Colorado’s most expensive home for sale, a Vail mansion listed at $78 million that includes a whopping 11 bedrooms, 18 bathrooms, and not just two but three swimming pools.
